                                    A god demanded death for

                                    Agamemnon’s daughter,

                                    slaughtered by her father

                                    so a war could happen,

 

                                    stopped the sacrifice

                                    of Isaac to emplace

                                    Avram’s patrimony,

                                    three faiths of pain and waste –

                                   

                                                no room for many women,

                                                many men of reason.

 

                                    Gods have manly interests.
